Including materials (articles, book chapters, or video) in courseware is not difficult.
Valid permalink URLs should begin with this proxy phrase.
https://esearch.ut.edu/login?url=
A URL might also look like this:
https://fod-infobase-com.esearch.ut.edu/p_ViewVideo.aspx?xtid=241221
Notice the hyphens in the database part at the front and the esearch.ut.edu part in the middle.
(Either method will work for proxy off-campus access.)
Embed Films on Demand
Click the button below the view box.
Click the Embed/Link tab and at the bottom copy the Embed Code.
Below the video player window, click to copy the citation in MLA, APA, or export to RefWorks.
In general, look for "share" on the database for the link or embed code.
Within Canvas, select the course and section to place your video.
Position your cursor where you want the embedded video to appear.
Click on the cloud icon to embed code. Or click Insert → embed.
Sometimes you might have a problem embedding code because of the browser you're using. You can always add a permalink instead of embedding the video.
