Faculty and Staff Resources

This guide assists faculty and staff with resources offered by the Macdonald-Kelce Library.

Including materials in Blackboard

Including materials (articles, book chapters, or video) in courseware is not difficult.

  • Linking is copyright safe and more accurately represents usage of a resource.
  • Locate the article, ebook, or video file from the library resources.
  • Create a citation in your preferred format. This is important for attribution, and in case the link breaks.
  • Find the Permalink, Persistent link, or Stable URL. This might be in the database itself, or through Summon.

Valid permalink URLs should begin with this proxy phrase.
