UT Alumni

The Office of Development and University Relations offers many services and resources for UT Alumni.

In order to take advantage of your Alumni status, become a member of the National Alumni Association (NAA). Membership is free and automatic for all graduates of The University of Tampa. They will issue you a card which you can then use at the Campus Bookstore for a discount and other benefits listed here.

Alumni membership includes access to view the physical collection of books and periodicals at the Macdonald-Kelce Library, and the ability to use Wi-Fi, computers, and databases while in the library. Alumni may not print, checkout materials, or use databases off-campus.

UT Publications

Take a stroll down memory lane and browse past UT yearbooks and publications. The library hosts a digitized database of the Minaret (student newspaper), Moroccan (yearbook), UT Journal (alumni magazine), and Insighter (staff-faculty newsletter). This archive dates back to 1931 when UT was Tampa Junior College.

Do Alumni have access to the databases?

There is no off-campus access to the databases for Alumni.

People in the state of Florida can access the Florida Electronic Library (FEL).

Visit us on-campus and use the Databases for On-Site Public Users guide.

Anyone may also sign up to become a Friend of the Macdonald-Kelce Library.

Library Services Available to Alumni

Alumni may join the Friends of the Macdonald-Kelce Library. Membership benefits include circulation privileges (up to five books for two weeks). When you visit the Macdonald-Kelce Library, Wi-Fi is free via the UT Campus Network

On campus visitors have access to some (but not all) of the library databases.
