Mendeley

Mendeley is a reference manager, academic collaboration network and crowdsourced database with a unique layer of social information research. Mendeley Desktop is available on Mac, Windows and Linux. Mendeley Web functions on all major browsers. Mobile versions of Mendeley are available for Ipad, Iphone and Android devices.

1. Create a free Mendeley Account
2. Download the Mendeley Desktop Manager (Mac or Windows)
3. From the Desktop Manager click Tools and Install the Mendeley Web Importer
4. From Microsoft Word click Gett Add-ins and type Mendeley Cite

Citation Managers help collect and organize citations in your paper.
In addition to Mendeley, you can also use RefWorks or Zotero.

Mendeley saves your references in the cloud, but you can also opt to download local copies and automatically rename the PDFs using a naming scheme you specify.
