Early Voting In Person: Happening Now
You don’t have to wait until Election Day to vote! Now through Sunday, Nov. 6, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., both on-campus and off-campus students who are registered to vote in Hillsborough County may vote early at one of 26 locations, including the Fred B. Karl County Center (601 E. Kennedy Boulevard, 16th floor). This location is downtown and less than half a mile from campus. You’ll need to bring either one or two forms of ID (see https://www.votehillsborough.org/ for details).
Election Day Voting In Person: Tuesday, Nov. 8
On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., on-campus students who are registered to vote in Hillsborough County must vote at First Baptist Church of Tampa (302 W. Kennedy Blvd.). This is across the street from campus.
Off-campus students need to vote at the polling location on their voter card. All students need to bring either one or two forms of ID (see https://www.votehillsborough.org for details).
Voting By Mail in Hillsborough County
If you still have a Hillsborough County mail ballot, you can still fill it out, but it’s too late/risky to mail it back now. It must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day, so you should drop it off by hand at one of the 26 early-voting locations in the county. The closest one to campus is the Fred B. Karl County Center (601 E. Kennedy Boulevard, 16th floor). You must use a black pen when filling out the ballot, sign the back of the envelope and include you contact info on there (this is so the Supervisor of Elections can reach out if there’s a problem with the signature). A Hillsborough County mail-in ballot can be tracked online at https://www.votehillsborough.org/, so you can see when it was “received” and “counted.”
