FMX: Film, Animation and New Media

Use this guide to help you with class projects involving digital and film production, animation, and new media studies. For majors, minors, and students taking courses in FMX.

Search Books

Here is just a sample of what you can find in the stacks. Note that film production, new media, screenplays, sound recordings, and cinema books are not located in one single place in the library. If you are having trouble finding what you need on the shelves, ask a Reference Librarian for help.

Search Summon to cross-search the catalog and many of the library databases at once:

Advanced Search

Search the Online Catalog UTOPIA to find physical books and DVDs.

Use WorldCat to find books in other libraries.

Fill out an InterLibrary Loan form to request a copy of a book you see elsewhere. If you find something you need at the public library or at USF, you have borrowing privileges. If you don't have a Hillsborough Public Library card, it is easy and free to sign up.

Reference Books
