Nursing materials for undergraduate and graduate students at the Macdonald-Kelce Library.

Library of Congress Classification

Materials in the Reference and Main collections are arranged by Library of Congress subject classification, an alpha-numeric system. Medicine is shelved in the R – RZ section. Books on nursing philosophy, theory, administration and history are usually shelved in the RT section. Books on the application of nursing skills are shelved in the specific discipline: for example, books on Pediatric Nursing are shelved in the RJ section.

Reference materials are shelved on the first floor of the library in the reference section. It is a non-circulating collection.

The Main collection is shelved on the second floor of the library. These materials can be checked out.
