Start your search with the library's search engine. Use the checkboxes in the results page to narrow your search. Search using your keywords, then restrict your search to 'Scholarly & Peer-Review' (for example).
Sometimes articles that are close but not exactly on-topic will be useful as a source for new keywords or references.
Remember that most databases search across disciplines. Pay attention to the names of the journals in your search results and chose articles suitable for your discipline.
Start with one of these databases:
One of the most comprehensive databases available online. Provides access to full-text journals across a wide range of subject areas, including business, education, literature, political science, and psychology.
Use Google Scholar for a broader search.
If you find an article or book, not in full-text, request it from another library.
