Within the following list of individual databases you can find thousands of scholarly articles, images, reference sources like encyclopedias, timelines, and more.

Asia Art Archive  - AAA’s collection is a dynamic, growing body of material intended to reflect contemporary artistic practice and developments of Asia within an international context.

Bibliography of the History of Art [BHA] and the Répertoire de la Litterature de l'Art (RILA]) - The Getty provides free access to BHA and RILA. These citation databases, searchable together, cover a comprehensive range of art and art history materials published between 1975 and 2007. For material published after 2007 see the International Bibliography of Art (IBA). 

CORE - CAA  - CORE is a full-text, interdisciplinary, non-profit social repository designed to increase the impact of work in the Humanities. Find Art History, Design, Media Studies, and other humanities scholarship. Sponsored by the College Art Association (CAA).

Digital Public Library of America - The Digital Public Library of America brings together the riches of America’s libraries, archives, and museums, and makes them freely available to the world. It strives to contain the full breadth of human expression, from the written word, to works of art and culture, to records of America’s heritage, to the efforts and data of science.

Getty Search Portal - The Getty Research Portal™ is an online search platform providing global access to digitized art history texts. Through this multilingual, multicultural union catalog, scholars can search and download complete digital copies of publications for the study of art, architecture, material culture, and related fields.

Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History  - The Timeline of Art History presents the Met’s collection via a chronological, geographical, and thematic exploration of global art history. Targeted at students and scholars of art history, it is an invaluable reference, research, and teaching tool.

Metropolitan Museum of Art Publications - MetPublications is a portal to the Met's comprehensive publishing program with 1,500 titles, including books, online publications, and Bulletins and Journals from the last five decades.

Perseus Digital Library - The Perseus Project is an evolving digital library of resources for the study of the humanities. They are funded to perform research on developing tools to provide users with improved access to various types of materials.

Society of Architectural Historians Archipedia  - SAH Archipedia: Classic Buildings, a free, open-access site containing entries for around 100 buildings from each state represented in SAH Archipedia. These entries have been chosen by the editors as among the most significant or representative ones from their region.

World Digital Library - The World Digital Library provides free access to manuscripts, rare books, maps, photographs, and other important cultural documents from all countries.
