Altmetrics.com - proposes to measure article level metrics. It is used as an alternative to Journal Impact factors or h-factor. It uses the aspects: Viewed, Discussed, Saved, Cited and Recommended. To freely view the altmetrics impact of an article, download the bookmarklet. The Bookmarklet only works on PubMed, arXiv or pages containing a DOI with Google Scholar friendly citation metadata.Learn more about Altmetrics. PlumX gathers metrics across five categories—usage, mentions, captures, social media and citations. Metrics are gathered around what Plum Analytics calls artifacts—more than just the journal articles that a researcher authors (from the publisher's website).
