Filters and Narrowing Searches

Filters are located on the left of the search results. This allows you to narrow your search results.

Important: If you limit to "Free Full Text" then you will exclude all the articles provided by the Macdonald-Kelce Library. This will greatly limit your search results and you will miss great articles provided to you by the library. Instead of limiting to "free full-text", instead use the "UT Find Full Text" icon next to an article.

  2. On the "Additional Filters" you will see "Article Types."
  3. When you are selecting article types, keep in mind that the clinical trials are broken out to the phases.
