Tampa Theater

Built in 1926, the Tampa Theater is one of the country's best-preserved examples of grand movie palace architecture and is on the National Register of Historic Places.  It is a member-supported, non-profit theater that shows independent, foreign, and documentary films.

Second Screen Cult Cinema

Local film society that offers monthly screenings of important and classic cult films. Currently held at The Vault in downtown Tampa.


Although a national level movie ticket purchasing site, it is worth noting that it is the best of such sites in the Tampa Bay area for finding tickets for current films, as well as many specialty screenings in a variety of theaters in the area.
