Although a national level movie ticket purchasing site, it is worth noting that it is the best of such sites in the Tampa Bay area for finding tickets for current films, as well as many specialty screenings in a variety of theaters in the area.
Built in 1926, the Tampa Theater is one of the country's best-preserved examples of grand movie palace architecture and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a member-supported, non-profit theater that shows independent, foreign, and documentary films.
