MFA LOAN POLICY
BOOKS – MFA students may borrow books from The Macdonald-Kelce Library for a 6 week period, and request up to two renewals before the end of their semester when all materials must be returned.
You may check out items directly from the library when you are on campus. When not in residence on campus, you may borrow books by using the request tab in the catalog – see directions below.
If you have any questions about this or any library related material, email us at email@example.com; or call us at 813-257-3055 and talk to one of the Library Technicians.
We will mail the items to you in special packaging with an address label to be used when you return the items to us. This will also help to ensure the safety of the items.
INTERLIBRARY LOAN (ILL) – We will be happy to ILL material for you, but your loan period will be severely limited since all items come through our office before we return the item to the lending library. You may wish to request this service from your local public library to save time and ensure that you have a longer loan period. See our policy here.

We are happy to attempt to obtain materials that are not in our collection through Interlibrary Loan. However, keep in mind that due to different library due dates and the time it takes to mail books, working through the Interlibrary Loan of the Macdonald-Kelce Library may be inefficient. You may want to ask your local library about their Interlibrary Loan policies.
Visit your local library. If you need help locating the public library nearest you, let us know and we'll help you find one.
