Datasets and statistics for Criminology

Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) - Collects, analyzes, publishes, and disseminates information on crime, criminal offenders, victims of crime, and the operation of justice systems at all levels of government.

FBI Crime Statistics - The Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program's primary objective is to generate reliable information and data for use in law enforcement administration, operation, and management.

Global Terrorism Database (GTD) - An open-source database including information on terrorist events around the world from 1970 through 2017 (with annual updates planned for the future).

Integrated Network for Societal Conflict Research (INSCR) Datasets - The following data resources on armed conflict and political relations were prepared by researchers associated with the Center for Systemic Peace and are generated and/or compiled using open source information.

Sourcebook of Criminal Justice Statistics - Hosted by the University at Albany, Hindelang Criminal Justice Research Center. Provides statistics on police, corrections, courts, judges, crime, and other criminal justice topics. 

United States Attorneys Annual Statistical Report - The annual statistical reports for the Offices of the United States Attorneys contain statistical tables displaying both national and district caseload data, covering the many priorities of the United States Attorneys in both criminal prosecution and civil litigation.
