What is RefWorks?

RefWorks stores your references and citations online.

RefWorks can add citations directly into Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

RefWorks can automatically do footnotes and the bibliography.

Best of all, it is free to you because the Macdonald-Kelce Library provides ProQuest RefWorks free of charge for the UTampa Community.

Make sure you have a RefWorks account (click Create account, skip Use login from my institution).

Citation Managers help collect and organize citations in your paper.
In addition to RefWorks, you can also use Zotero or Mendeley.

1. Follow the link below to the RefWorks website.

RefWorks is an online bibliographic management tool that allows you to import citations directly from library databases, create bibliographies in almost any style, and format your bibliography and in-text citations.
RefWorks is accessible through Spartan Search. Look for it at the top right of your screen. Separate login and credentials are required. Use your UTampa email to create an account.

2. On the RefWorks website, select 'Create account' at the bottom of the box.
