Media Services

Need a DVD player or a microphone set up in your classroom? A variety of equipment is available from the Media Services Department. You must book all requests in advance.

Academic Success Center

The Academic Success Center offers peer tutoring and other academic coaching services for students.

They also offer exam proctoring services by appointment.

Saunders Writing Center

The Saunders Writing Center offers students one-on-one consultations to strengthen their fundamental writing skills to produce clear and creative writing. Tutors assist with brainstorming, proofreading or revising writing for any classes at UTampa. Tutoring sessions are available in person and online.

In order to use the services of the tutors in the Saunders Writing Center, all students will need to sign in and create an account at: swc.mywconline.com. Once students sign up, they will be eligible to have a session with a writing center tutor. The current schedule will also be posted on this webpage.

UT Center for Mathematics

The UT Center for Mathematics provides peer tutoring for 100 and 200-level math and computer science courses. Tutors can help students better understand course material, improve study skills and improve note-taking techniques.

Individual and small group tutoring is provided on a walk-in basis; check the UT Center for Mathematics for the current schedule.

UT Center for Public Speaking

The UT Center for Public Speaking provides one-to-one tutoring and small group workshops with peer tutors and experienced professionals. Services include brainstorming and outlining, mock interviews, delivery and content, evaluation of visual aids, and conference preparation.
