RefWorks can add citations directly into Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

RefWorks can automatically do footnotes and the bibliography.

Best of all, it is free to you because the Macdonald-Kelce Library provides ProQuest RefWorks free of charge for the UTampa Community.

Make sure you have a RefWorks account (click Create account, skip Use login from my institution).

Citation Managers help collect and organize citations in your paper.
In addition to RefWorks, you can also use Zotero or Mendeley.

1. Make your web browser save citations into RefWorks.
2. Make Microsoft Word add the citations automatically.
3. Upload journal article PDFs into RefWorks.
4. Share your RefWorks citations with others.

How Do I Set Up My RefWorks Account?

1. Follow the link below to the RefWorks website.

2. On the RefWorks website, select 'Create account' at the bottom of the box.

(skip Use login from my institution).

3. Enter your UTampa email address to create your account.
